The Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA) is a voluntary national trade association representing the major segments of the industrial heat processing equipment industry. Founded in Detroit in 1913 as The Steel Treaters Club, ASM International is a member led organization that serves the international materials community by providing information and resources. ASM Heat Treating Society is the world’s largest network of heat treaters, and Heat Treat Society members work to provide events and services to serve their worldwide membership of captive and commercial heat treaters, equipment manufacturers, researchers, and governments and technicians.
